TREASURES FROM THE FIELD HOUSE

If you haven't stopped by The Field House lately, it's more than a little likely that you've probably forgotten about the tremendous selection of good old goodies that our little general store has to offer. Even some of us here at the shop are finding ourselves in a state of astonishment for the cause of the incredible collection of good ol' goodness we've amassed. There's just so much good stuff that we can't even really believe it. And to boot, that ever-mounting stockpile of Americana goodness is contained within a not-so-insignificant 800 square feet of space! We don't really know how we manage to do it, but dammit, it makes us proud.

So, while we were swelling with pride, we went ahead and took a good hard walk through The Field House, aiming to curate an array of items for you to ogle. FILSON - Small Duffle Bag in Dark Tan
DETAILS: A not-so-well-kept Seattle secret, Filson is an old standby for us here in the Northwest. Coming straight out of The Emerald City, this small duffle bag can hold much more than you'd think. This trusty bag is made of rugged 100% cotton twill and includes a brass zip-top closure with leather pull, a snap shut storm flap, fixed-length bridle leather handles with snap shut hand grip, 43-inch adjustable/ removable bridle leather shoulder strap with leather shoulder pad, and interior side pockets. PENDLETON - Rainier National Park Blanket
DETAILS: Yet another Northwest original, The Rainier Park blanket was introduced by Pendleton Woolen Mills on Febuary 1, 1928 and was originally woven with a representation of flowers found in the pristine scenes that make Mt. Rainier so very special. Eventually, the design evolved into a solid colored body with three lines of black, yellow and green.

ALASKA BLACK DIAMOND - Seawoman Totem Pole
DETAILS: A hand-carved and painted totem pole from Ward Cove, AK. Made of yellow cedar grown deep in the South-Alaskan rainforest, this totem gal measures a good 16" tall. This carving depicts the legend of the Seawoman, who pines for her dead husband. You'll be sure to impress your house guests with that one, eh?
